Incredible!!!!! I thought you guys had vanished from the face of the earth. It was 1972 and I was a 17 year old senior in high school. My 19 year old brother was doing a hitch in the service and sent home dozens of albums and "Conan The Barbarian" comics. The artwork in the comics blew me away, (Barry W. Smith), and so did one of the albums called "Bang". It was one of the best summers I ever had, playing baseball, basketball, trying to date every cute girl that would talk to me and listening to Bang with headphones on. I will be purchasing your CD(s) ASAP. I'm also interested in reading the rest of your BIO. I understand that nothing stays the same, but I'm curious to see how much your music has changed over the years, (or has it????) Great page and good luck.

Jim

Been listening to the BANG all day. Really brings back memories. I had a couple of BANG 8 track tapes as a youth. Didn't know if you guys were a regional act or what. Your album did make it to Austin though. I have to say I've been looking on the net for any info on BANG for at least a couple of years. I was very happy to discover your site. I hope there will be shirts/hats available. Good luck with your recent endeavors. RWS

Well I finally received my Bang Cd. It sure is good to hear these songs again. I know your new cd will be a little bit on the mellow side but I hope you can write some more jammers like your old tunes. Thanks Dombo

I remember the summer a case of Bang "MOTHER/BOW TO THE KING" albums arrived at the front door. I remember opening them up with Frankie, pulling out 8-Tracks and albums and thinking how cool it was my brother was on the cover. I've toured 23 countries in the music business, including Hanoi, Viet Nam with many Grammy Award winning bands, but nothing was as cool as the day those albums arrived with you on the cover.

Love, Your brother, Bobby

Last summer i'm tuning in the local college station WLVR FM 91.3 which plays the stuff commercial radio wont play; to my utter DELIGHT!! i hear the ripping lead from FUTURE SHOCK. So i call the station and who other than your old buddy Al Fritzinger (AJ Fritz) is spinning these glorious, old, misplaced but never forgotten smokin' rock tunes!!! Only ever saw one copy of that BANG album, and that was back in 1974, a friend of mine bought the album because of the art work on the cover. We had never heard any of the music before, hell we were only 14 at the time but listening to the likes of BUDGIE, PRIEST and HARD STUFF at the time and BANG fit into our collection beautifully!! Anyway, the other day i hear Al spinning from his wonderful collection and call to make a BANG request and he fills me in on your web site, which is definately cool, and find out his copy is on CD. The guys wont beleive it when i show up at the next party with a copy of my own!!! Wish more people had the desire you guys have. I'll be checking from time to time. KEVIN

Hey Bang Gang!

It's your rockin' radio DJ "A.J. Fritz" here to tell you how much I LOVE the BANG/Mother-Bow to the King CD!! My vinyl has taken a beating over the years but still plays. To hear Mother, Questions, Future Shock, Feel the Hurt and the rest(too many to mention here) clean is a delight too profound for words!!! Playing it regularly on my show and getting response! Will be ordering the Music CD shortly and be talking to you guys soon. Hope all is well with everyone. Ready for a phone interview on the air again? That was great fun guys! If the band is ready by August perhaps that thing we talked about can be worked out. I'll be calling Tony or Frank soon! Keep on Banging guys!

Like it - I ran into Frank @ HomeDepo where he info'd me on the site. I had to check it out. It's been quite a long time since I the day's when you guys were just getting started. Still remember seeing your faces at some of our gigs and garage sessions. The Bounty Hunters had a reunion 2 years ago here at my place in Boothwyn. Great time. Believe it or not some of us have new stuff we shared with each other. In short its good to see your friendship and music intact. Only good things can happen. I'll check on the 28K audio thing for you and check in from time to time. Ken Carroll

I'm so excited. I've never been able to find anyone who even remembers the band Bang, and now I've actually found a place to order the CD. I'm feeling a little antique right now, but I will be sending a check out soon to order the CD of the first two albums. Thank you. Susan

I was just wondering if you are gong to slop no sugar tonight on any of your CD's. Thanks , Dombo

Dombo: No Sugar was written by the guess who and would create a copyright problem if we released it.
